Under the supervision of Mr. Shanahorn, the Electronics Club had a very successful year. As president, John Saar organized a field trip to a recording studio in San Francisco. The club’s main project this year was working on the school’s transceiver, a two way radio.

The members in the photos are as follows:

Craig J. Schultz
Jon S. Rossen
Scott Serata
Jon Mangi/Manji
John Saar
John R. Kindorf

Their advisor was Mr. Shanahorn.

The Campolindo TV show was still going this year.

The T.V. crew did many useful, interesting things this year. Lead by Mr. Shanahorn, the group produced the “Campolindo 30” television show which was seen Thursday evenings on Channel 6.

The students also taped such shows as “A Man For All Season,” “The Missiles of October,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and “The Candidate,” which were shown later in classes. This service proved to be useful for the teachers and enjoyable for the students.

We find the Campolindo amateur radio station in the Winter 1975-1976 amateur radio call book.

The entry states the following:

B Elect Club of Campolindo, 300 Moraga Rd, Moraga 94556

The “B” indicates a club license.

That’s all the information on this part that we have at the moment. As with all these posts, please feel free to share any information you might have.
