At the moment, we do not have access to the 1972 Mirada.
There are amateur radio call books that cover the 1971-1972 school year, but this is the last school year we find an amateur radio station at Miramonte.
They had quite a run. We first spotted them in the Summer 1958 amateur radio call book. A mention of their station first showed up in the 1959 Mirada.
Their amateur radio station was around for about 14 years. It is the longest running amateur radio station in the district.
The Miramonte Electronics Club is in the Fall 1971 and Winter 1971-1972 call books.
Fall 1971:
The entry states the following:
B Miramonte H S Elec Club, 750 Moraga Way, Orinda 94563
Winter 1971-1972:
The entry states the following:
B Miramonte H S Elec Club, 750 Moraga Way, Orinda 94563
The “B” in the entries indicates a club license.
That’s all the information on this part that we have at the moment. As with all these posts, please feel free to share any information you might have.
