On the outside wall of Whole Foods Grocery Store in Lafayette Plaza Center, the Lafayette Historical Society has put up a display of early families and a bit of their stories. People who live here will recognize some of the names from street names. Others will know the locations where the families lived. These are some of the people who formed our city. We hope you enjoy the display!
The Historical Society also has a display of the Libraries of Lafayette in the lobby at the top of the library stairs, and in the library near the Homework Room is a display about the Lafayette Horse Show.
Please drop in and visit us for more pictures, stories, and artifacts of Lafayette history. We’re here Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 to 2 on Golden Gate Way next to the Library Book Store.
